Holiday care for dogs in our own home:
You can have peace of mind when you go away, knowing your dog is being cared for as one of our family in a knowledgeable and experienced home. We only take dogs from one household at any given time.  We will only look after:
· sociable dogs who are never aggressive
· dogs who would be happy to be left with my 2 dogs for a short period of time
· castrated males
· bitches not in season (or due to come into season)
· vaccinated, wormed and flea treated dogs

We have a strict procedure to check your dogs would be happy to come and stay with us. Firstly, a ‘no obligation’ walk with my 2 dogs, at which we encourage you to come with us for your peace of mind. Secondly, an overnight stay at least a month prior to your holiday. If there is not enough time to fit the trial in then maybe our services are not for you, as we like owners and their dogs to be organised and comfortable regarding their holiday arrangements.  We will collect and drop off your dog at a mutually convenient time, at no extra charge. If both parties (including dogs!) are happy we will then book you in and take your deposit.

Daily home visits in approximately 20 minute slots for small animals may include:
· Feeding and fresh water
· Notes from the visit (please request as not done as standard)
· Clean feeding area
· Clean litter tray/hutch/cage
· Check general health
· Play, fuss and cuddles
· Basic grooming
· Administer oral medication
· Up to three visits per day

Dog walking – 30 minute slots:
In addition to food, warmth and shelter, we all know that dogs love positive human attention, social interaction and mental stimulation. Therefore if you would like this to happen come what may, then your dog will be walked from your home, on familiar ground, at around the time slot of your choice, to enable the social interaction and mental stimulation mentioned above. We do not walk other dogs at the same time as yours (i.e. group walking), so your dog will get our undivided attention, as they would with you. We will also respect the age of the dog in relation to how far and at what pace we walk with them. We will return them, with paws wiped, refreshed, ready for their next snooze and awaiting your return.

Puppy/dog visits – 30 minute slots:
We know, from first hand experience, how difficult it can be when you have a puppy at home. If you are at work or have to leave your puppy for long hours, our visits will help keep their existing routine by incorporating play, feeding and toilet breaks. The benefits will also be that we can help minimise the chance of your puppy becoming bored and destructive. Your puppy’s anxiety about being left will also be minimised, giving them something else to look forward to and helping relieve them of some of that unlimited energy puppies seem to possess!! We can call however many times you like too.
All of the above may also apply to elderly and ‘middle-aged’ dogs too, so if you feel that your canine would benefit from us popping in to feed, play and/or walk them, then all you need to do is ask.

Horse care may include:
· One or two visits per day (minimum 30 minutes per visit)
· Turnout/bring in
· Mucking out
· Feeding and fresh water
· Rug changing
· Basic grooming
The above services will vary greatly, according to the needs of your equine and the place they are kept, so please just ask if there is anything specific you would like to be done. The only thing we will not offer are exercising them.

Extra free services available:
Whilst looking after your pet we can also help give your house that ‘lived-in’ look by providing all or some or the following if you wish:
· Pick up mail/papers from letterbox
· Adjust curtains/blinds
· Put out rubbish on bin day
· Water plants
· Notes about each visit
· Holding your keys on file
